Mikel Oleaga was born in Madrid, Spain. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Law and in Business Administration from Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from SOAS, University of London. He has over 8 years of experience in the coworking sector, specializing in the promotion and support of social entrepreneurship. Mikel also has international experience in the field of anti-corruption and public sector transparency. Mikel has been involved in numerous citizen-run initiatives related to collaborative spaces in urban and rural contexts and co-founded an awarded social enterprise in rural Spain. Social ecology, environmental economics, public/private/citizen collaboration, and social entrepreneurship are among his main areas of study.
