Costantino Romeo

Costantino Romeo’s broad research interests are focused on the evolving relationships between labour transformations and spaces to live and work.
He achieved a Bachelor in Philosophy at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (IT) and a Master in Management and Business Communication at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (IT).
Costantino Romeo has been interested in knowledge-based work: therefore, collaborative spaces naturally became an appropriate research field to explore how knowledge workers – often self-entrepreneurs – seize professional, relational, and knowledgeable resources. During the year 2020-2021, as a research fellow in Economic Sociology at Ca’ Foscari, he explored the making of professional identities among coworkers located throughout the Veneto Region. In the coming years, Costantino Romeo’s commitment to research will concern how those originally urban models of work, leading to the spread of coworking spaces, may reproduce also in peripherical or non-urban areas.
