Juan Diaz

Juan Diaz was a former Business Analyst at Citigroup coordinating global projects related to the design of strategies for business penetration and digitalization across emerging economies. He has professional experience in organizational strategies, international business, policy research and government consulting. As part of the Free Trade Agreement negotiations between the governments of the Republic of Korea and Colombia, he provided research and consulting services leading to the formulation of policy recommendations for rural economic development in Colombia based on local endowments. He is attracted to the CORAL program because of the hands on project-based approach, which provides specialized tailor-made training and the opportunity to work with interdisciplinary and multinational teams. 

Juan holds master’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of South Florida in the United States and in International Migration and Ethnic Relations from Malmö University in Sweden. In his free time, Juan enjoys running and competing in triathlons.

I was born and raised in Colombia but moved to the United States upon finishing High School. I have a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in economics.
