“Policy implications and communication of research results”

4th CORAL Training School in Vorchdorf, Upper Austria

CORAL – ITN invites five PhD candidates to join the CORAL – ITN training school that will take place in Vorchdorf, Upper Austria.

The 4th CORAL School is hosted by Otelo eGen and focuses on the policy implications and communication of research results. The training school will be limited to members of the CORAL network and visiting researchers in order to allow more time to intensely prepare the PhD candidates for the start and the final stage of their projects.

The training school will offer lectures regarding the scientific engagement and empowerment of early – stage researchers through interactive, innovative, and creative ways. SciCo (Science Communication) will offer a workshop regarding the organization of high-impact outreach activities while researchers will have the opportunity to engage in roundtable discussions regarding policy implications with practitioners and local policy makers. Barbara Grabher, University of Brighton, will give a lecture titled “Event-based regeneration and its potential for infrastructural transformation of mobility”. The agenda will be published soon.

Please note that CORAL covers accommodation and lunches but does not cover

transportation costs.
