Located in a large urban region undergoing territorial change, TVES welcomes 54 researchers (professors, senior lecturers), 6 research assistants, 30 doctoral students. TVES’s scientific activity report, produced by HCERES for the period 2013- 2018, is excellent (scientific production, number of contracts, international projection). The scientific objectives revolve around three axes: public space and living together (mobility, tourism, heritage); inequalities, risks, socio-environmental transitions; innovation and development of territories, uses of digital technology, decision support. The TVES laboratory is a member of the MESHS (European House of Human Sciences). It promotes scientific cooperation and invites international researchers.
