Helyaneh Aboutalebi Tabrizi

Helyaneh received her master’s degree in Architecture from Bilkent University. She is a working group member, collaborating with the communication team at CA18214, “The Geography of New Working Spaces and Impacts on the periphery” project, since February 2021. She also had a Short-Term Scientific Mission (STSM) regarding the project. She has experience in the urban and neighborhood effects of coworking spaces located in the northern part of Oslo, Norway.

Her mission as ESR1 in CORAL-ITN at Politecnico di Milano is to focus on peripheral and rural CWS of six different European countries. The main goals are to create a taxonomy for CWS by gathering data such as functions, typologies, and users, in addition to their location patterns with the help of GIS and quantitative methods. For her, one of the highlighted tasks is to research on impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the distribution of the CWS in the defined peripheries.
