Lorenzo Marmo has a strong background in development economics with a particular focus on sustainable agricultural practices. During his Master’s degree in Management, Economics and Consumer Studies at Wageningen University (Netherlands) he acquired knowledge in agricultural and rural development, climate change and smallholders’ food security in Least Developed Countries. During his experiences as research intern at CGIAR and as project intern in the Development Economics Group of WUR, he had the opportunity to strengthen his econometrics and quantitative research skills. Because of the importance he places in new opportunities for socio-economic development in disadvantaged and rural areas, his professional ambition is to shed light on latent dynamics and impacts of Co-Working Spaces, so as to efficiently respond to the specific local and regional needs and pave the way for a more sustainable future.
